The hometown feel you get just from walking our streets is unequaled. When the autumn leaves start falling, our downtown area gears up for the Jesup Arch Fest. The Arch Fest is held the fourth weekend in October in a six-block area downtown. During the festival you can expect to see the following: live entertainment, antiques, old car show, best looking truck competition, wild life section, are displays, barbeque cook-off, big buck contest, Halloween carnival, pumpkin patch activities, garden club store, and several kids’ activities.
During the month of December our downtown lights up at night. All of the crepe myrtles lining Cherry Street are decorated to there finest. You can shop our downtown stores while listening to festive Christmas music. Don’t forget to visit the Santa House. Santa will be patiently waiting to hear your wish list.
