Engineering Department
The Engineering Department's primary responsibility is to assist other department heads in technical matters and problem solving necessary for them to meet the requirements of their department.
The Engineering department is responsible for designing, permitting, bidding, awarding contracts, and implementation of project required for improvements or maintenance of the sewer and water systems, streets, and drainage system.
The Engineering department has to stay informed on issues relating to environmental regulation, code updates, new technologies, and cost estimating.
